No need to panic, New England Patriots nation! This sitting out of day one of free agency is nothing new for Bill Belichick. Also, not falling in step with 90% of the other NFL teams (who do not consistently make the playoffs like New England and Pittsburgh) who are throwing around a ton of money to keep a popular--but eminently replaceable--player or sign a shiny new player is a good thing, not a bad thing.
