Don’t you just hate it when you have a plan, and then things spiral out of your control and your best laid plans go up in smoke?
Yeah, me too. Unfortunately, I had a plan and even though Christmas Eve and Christmas are valid excuses, I had planned to get ahead of the Thursday games and have my picks posted since there were three Christmas Day games.
Now I don’t even want to go back to week 16 games…it seems like a million years ago.
Let’s check in on the Christmas games I had picked and have already been played:
- Dallas wins but doesn’t cover.
- Nailed that one.
- The Lions didn’t show up versus the Minnesota defense.
- Ugh. Not even close on that prediction.
- The Broncos won but couldn’t cover against the checked-out Chiefs.
- Pitiful performance by Denver--I expected better from the offense.
