The second half of 2025 began in the NFL with a bunch of great games last week!
Do you like offense? Three teams topped 40 points last week and another three put up over 30 or more points.
Are you a fan of defensive battles? Week ten was bookmarked by a pair of 10-7 games on Thursday and Monday night, and also threw in a 17-7 stinkfest, I mean defensive battle between Carolina and New Orleans.
Upsets? Sure, how about Miami blowing out Buffalo 30-13?
Comebacks? Sure, how about the Bears doing it again and the Giants choking away another fourth quarter lead and costing their head coach his job?
MVP caliber quarterbacks battling? You got it with Drake Maye and Baker Mayfield leaving it all out on the field as both showed why they’re solidly in the conversation.
What a week that was! Now onto this week to see if we can top the entertainment level.
Thursday night kicks off this week with the AFC East leading New England Patriots facing off against bitter rivals the New York Jets and new head coach Aaron Glenn. Then, the final breakfast and football special (well, on the East coast, natch) as the 9:30AM International game kicks off in the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in Madrid, Spain features the 3-7 Washington Commanders facing the 3-7 Miami Dolphins.
The early window on Sunday is highlighted by the Buccaneers travelling to Buffalo to face the Bills and Chicago trying to bury their NFC North rivals the Minnesota VIkings.
In the late window, the big game of the four is the AFC West battle between the upstart Denver Broncos and the nine-consecutive division winning Kansas City Chiefs in Empower Field at Mile High where the Broncos faithful will be loud as they try to drop 5-4 Kansas City down to .500.
Sunday Night Football features two NFC titans in a potential NFC Championship Game preview as the world champion Philadelphia Eagles host the high powered Detroit Lions.
The week wraps up with a matchup that the brass at Disney likely thought would be a better game. The ABC/ESPN Monday Night Football game has the Dallas Cowboys travelling to Las Vegas to take on Pete Carroll and the Raiders.
